Claire has been in the Financial Planning world since 2006 and holds both the Chartered and Certified Financial Planner qualification. Her passion is helping her clients live the lives they want without financial stress and worries. Her approach particularly suits clients who are going / have gone through divorce and bereavement and working in unison with their other professional advisers; solicitors, accountants etc. Claire is a member of Resolution, the association for professionals working in the Family Law area.
Having spent 6 years working in a London media accountancy firm, her understanding of the music and media industry teamed with her communication style has led to an additional specialism of advising individuals and business owners in this field.
The foundations of the planning Claire carries out for clients is based around a Lifetime Cash Flow plan. This enables a high level strategy to be designed in order to help clients meet their objectives and maximise the planning opportunities available for their situation (including utilising the clients own business, if relevant). There may be different methods to achieve the desired outcome and Claire is adept at taking clients round their table of options in order for the client to be able to make an informed decision.
The plan can then be implemented using Claire’s wide technical knowledge base covering investments, pensions (including pensions and divorce) and protection.
Claire’s other passions include enjoying various cuisines, both visiting restaurants and then trying to recreate her favourite dishes at home, where possible using produce from her veg patch! To counteract the culinary delights she likes to enjoy the Surrey countryside either on two feet or two wheels.
Ian is a Financial Planner and has been involved in the financial services industry for more than 30 years. Ian worked in investment banking for a variety of international banks and hedge funds, before moving across to provide advice clients in 2021.
A keen advocate of independent investment advice, which is increasingly difficult for clients to find, combined with a planning-led approach to identify planning opportunities, allocate priorities and demonstrate how I can help clients achieve their long-term personal and financial goals. Making financial decisions can be daunting, so I pride myself on avoiding jargon and using plain English, so my clients can better understand the options open to them and feel more confident in the outcome.
Away from the office, I enjoy the gym and attempting to play golf.
